✅ View Your Evaluations and Feedback
- Log in to KickUp using your Proxminty credentials to access walkthrough feedback, rubric scores, and specific notes from your Teaching & Learning Specialists (TLS).
- Feedback is based only on what was observed and is grounded in objective evidence (e.g., “Teacher used open-ended questions aligned to the lesson objective”).
✅ Track Your Coaching Progress
- Every coaching session you have is logged in KickUp.
- You’ll see a record of what was discussed, next steps, and timelines—so everyone stays on the same page.
- These logs build a transparent record of your professional journey and growth.
✅ Complete PD Courses Assigned to You
If your walkthrough or coaching feedback suggests an area of growth, your TLS may assign a targeted professional development (PD) course through KickUp.
You'll be able to see:
- The name of the course
- Why it was assigned
- When you need to have it completed
After completing PD, your TLS will follow up with support to help implement what you learned.
✅ Register for PD Courses to further your own Growth
You can also view all asynchronous PDs offered at Proximity and register on your own to increase your knowledge and skills.
PD is assigned based on walkthrough trends, coaching conversations, and any unique needs identified by you, your TLS, or school expectations. It’s not random—it’s about giving you targeted tools to grow. You can also pick PD courses you'd like to try on your own!
Proximity Live PDs will also use KickUp for registration purposes
I got a low rating in one area—what now?
That’s not a punishment—it’s an opportunity. Your TLS will use that data to help you grow and may recommend PD or coaching support. Review the walkthrough notes, reflection questions and rubric descriptorits and examples to understand the expectations and reach out to your TLS if you have additional questions.
Can I see previous walkthroughs or coaching logs?
Yes! KickUp keeps a running log of your feedback history, so you can see your growth over time.
What happens if there’s a concern from the school?
Concerns are documented in KickUp for transparency. Your TLS will schedule a check-in, and we’ll work together on next steps.
Can I respond to or comment on the feedback I receive?
Though you may respond within KickUp directly to coaching notes or walkthrough feedback, KickUp is not a two-way communication platform. You’re encouraged to discuss your feedback during coaching sessions or directly with your TLS. KickUp is a documentation tool—conversations happen outside the system.
What do the ratings or rubric scores mean?
Each observation is rated using a clear rubric. The ratings reflect observed behaviors aligned with instructional and professional standards. They are not personal judgments—they are meant to guide support and development.
What if I don’t agree with something in KickUp?
Bring it up during your coaching check-ins or reach out to discuss this with your TLS. The goal is transparency and fairness. All feedback is evidence-based and grounded in observable actions, but if context was missed, your TLS will want to hear it.
Can I download or print my walkthroughs or PD record?
Yes. You can access a personal record of all walkthroughs, coaching notes, and assigned/completed PD.
How often should I expect feedback to show up in KickUp?
Walkthroughs are typically logged every few weeks or as needed based on performance and support needs. You’ll also see coaching session notes and PD updates as they occur.
Is KickUp just used when something goes wrong?
No! KickUp is designed to support all teachers, not just those needing improvement. It tracks positive feedback, growth over time, and celebrates what’s working just as much as it identifies opportunities for growth.
