Due to the design and permissions configuration of PLI's instance of Canvas, Classroom Facilitators and School/District Admin will each experience a different way to navigate to the Canvas courses they oversee.
School Facilitators
For the purposes of these instructions, Facilitator (aka TA in Canvas) refers to the in-class support person for PLI serviced classes.
Facilitators have the easiest Canvas navigation in that as soon as they log into PLI Canvas, they land on their Canvas Dashboard which will have a listing of course tiles that are clickable to enter each course.
1- Login to PLI Canvas
2- Click Dashboard
3- Select and Click into the desired class
School/District Admin
While this navigation will look a bit different, it will ultimately provide the same type of course access but will offer visibility to more courses than what a facilitator would see.
School Admin- School level administrators will have full view of all PLI courses associated with their individual campus.
District Admin- District level administrators will have full view of all PLI courses associated with the entire district. These will be broken down by campus and then individual courses will be searchable within that campus' list.
1- Login to PLI Canvas
2- Click the admin button on the left-hand navigation bar
3- Select the campus you would like to view
4- Scroll through the list of courses to select the desired course.
*We recommend that you right-click on the course you desire to see and select open in new tab. This step will allow you to navigate back to the main list of courses simply by clicking the earlier tab.
