More and more with the demands of a digital world, we are asked to send documents to various people. As teachers, this is often the case in communicating with students, colleagues, supervisors, and employers.
There are a number of scan apps available in both your Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store, depending on which type of device you might be using.
Here is one such user-friendly app, it's called Genius Scan. It's a free download in both the Google Play Store for Android and Google phones as well as the Apple App Store for iPhones and iPads. Think of it as a portable pocket scanner.
It lets you use your phone, iPhone, or iPad to access your camera app, take a picture, edit and straighten the corners, adjust to color or black and white, and then convert to any file format you like (conveniently defaults to .pdf), and can be emailed out directly from your device. It's easy to learn and easy to use.
